The IOL-Vip Revolution Acrylic lenses work together to act like a telescope, gently magnifying the image entering the eye and diverting it to a healthier part of the retina. This section of healthier retina receives the image, taking over the role of the macula and can provide the AMD patient with significantly improved vision.
IOL-Vip Revolution Acrylic, is a capsular bag and sulcus mini telescope, whose innovative characteristics are the haptics of the negative IOL square edge that create a barrier against the posterior capsule opacity (PCO), the thickness prevents contact between the anterior capsule and the rear.
The acrylic material allows us to have a device handy and easy to implant through the standard injectors. The safety and biocompatibility of the material is ensured by a decade of experience done with the same material used for the intraocular lenses.
To improve the visual performance of patients with ARMD or very high myopia and reduce dramatically the PCO, with IOL-Vip Revolution Acrylic we proceeded to implement the new model with innovative dimensions and material compared to those currently available on the world market.
