The IOL-VIP Revolution retains the functional characteristics of IOL-VIP Standard created by Lenspecial in 2001. The IOL-Vip Standard (or mixed) requires the insertion of a strongly negative IOL in the bag or sulcus and a strongly negative one in the anterior chamber.
The new IOL-VIP Revolution goes totally inserted in the bag and is composed of an equatorial ring for the capsular bag, in acrylic material, a strongly negative IOL with haptics of different lengths (for obtaining the prismatic effect), and a strongly positive IOL to be inserted orthogonally to the negative in order to reproduce the telescopic effect simulated in the pre-operative assessment. The IOL-Vip Revolution, does not require a pre and post-operative rehabilitation treatment (although it is advisable to do it postoperatively).

The IOL Vip Revolution PS model is realized in one piece (= One), ie both the optical zone as the haptic zone, are made of the same material, ie the loops are taken from the center of the lens and form an integral part of the lens itself.
